Farzak is about connection
Hi there! We’re Farah and Zack (hence the name of this website). Welcome! We’re here to connect with you as we follow our dream traveling the world.
Connection. That’s what our travels are about. Sometimes it’s necessary to temporarily disconnect from everything and everyone. Why? To build even stronger connections to what matters most. At least that’s how we feel.
Connection. It’s about relationships. And in the end, that’s all that matters. To connect with folks like you on the interwebs and perhaps in person. To connect in our marriage and partnership. Our #1 priority. To connect with individuals, communities, and cultures from all walks of life.
Is traveling around the world the only way to build relationships and connect? Not at all. But our society does have a way of distracting us. Passifying us. Conditioning us to think that life is rigid.
With some reflection, we realized that life is not fixed, and that we have CHOICES.
And so we choose at this stage of life to explore the foreign. What else is out there? What can we learn about ourselves and where we come from? What other opportunities and interests are out there that we have not yet discovered?
This decision to travel represents a fresh start. A new beginning. The trailhead of a new path. We don’t know the terrain of this trail. Nor do we know the circumstances we’ll encounter…yet.
It’s not easy to leave our families, friends, or dog children, our jobs, or comforts of our roots in Arizona. We love them, and miss them very much.
But we know it’s the right path. How? Because it’s energizing, exciting, interesting, scary, and uncomfortable. It’s the path less traveled. In fact, no one else has traveled this exact path we are about to take. We’ve taken the time to think deeply about the mental and physical tools we need on this journey, and we feel ready. Whatever that means.
We aren’t trying to save the world or its inhabitants, but to learn from them. With them. That’s why we’re interested in Global Unity.
To share our time, energy, talents, and resources. And as we do, like magic, people share with us. This should be interesting. Stay tuned.

After leaving our full-time jobs, we now split our time between medical missions, and multi-cultural outdoor adventure trips. Join us!

Zack and Farah have created a unique network of worldwide friends and partners to promote global unity as medical professionals, outdoor excursion experts, and world travelers.
As medical professionals, they facilitate quality health care to underserved populations. As outdoor adventurers, they organize excursions. During these adventure trips, they build opportunities for adventurers from all around the world to share their cultural traditions, interests, and perspectives.
In the words of Zack and Farah:
“Our focus is human diversity and teamwork. We see the human population as one massive team. Sure, there’s healthy competition, but in the end, we choose the common goal of evolving the human race in a way that makes the entire team happier and healthier. We understand this isn’t the only way to promote global unity. It’s just one path, and we support you to use your time, energy, and resources to contribute to a worthy cause!”
Zack and Farah are from the sunny state of Arizona – home to the Grand Canyon.
